I recently attended a seminar at Virtue Academy in southport. Professor Thiago was warm and welcoming and the knowledge and experience he has to share is incredible.The space is organised, open, clean and very family friendly. Gracie Barra Hornsby has become my home away from home. Whenever I can get the chance to be on the mats with such a talented team of instructors, lead my Professor Marcio and Coach Murilo, I have a fantastic time. I feel it is a great workout both for your body and your mind. I am possibly the oldest student at GBH and my son is the youngest in the adult classes, but it caters perfectly to us and all the students in between. I highly recommend joining and being part of such a great group of people.

Such an amazing Martial arts centre. I always feel welcomed into the lessons. The staff are all very friendly and have excellent skills in teaching martial arts and encouraging character development. The students of all ages are always having fun and learning. The staff are wonderful at knowing what is best for the kids and encouraging them to suceed! I highly recommend hunter valley martial arts to all individuals and families! They believe in what they do and work hard to change the lives of every student who walks through the door in a positive and fulfilling way.

I've been a student at MARA for over 8 years now and I can't imagine training anywhere else. The instructors are phenomenal and have an incredibly vast knowledge on all the arts they teach, making learning fun and engaging. Their teaching style is perfect for beginners, making martial arts approachable and fun, instead of intimidating.There's something for everyone with their classes, for aspiring competitors and families who just want to have fun. I started out in their kids' program and it has made a significant impact on my outlook on life, my discipline and behaviour, as well as my fitness. Through MARA I managed to reach my fitness goals, meet many new friends, and engage my mind through learning various art forms.I simply cannot recommend MARA enough.

Just did my first muay Thai class, trying to quit smoking and get my fitness level up haven't done anything like this for 6 plus years and put on some weight , and have to say the staff are excellent , the owner is very friendly and welcoming the Muay Thai trainers push you but also understand if you need a break and the people that train there are friendly and very welcoming and understood taking it a bit slower and giving me pointers when sparring, can't wait to start my fitness and confidence journey here and looking forward to getting hooked in , 10/10 recommend

I've been a member of the Immersion MMA Muay Thai family for over a year and a half now and could not recommend it highly enough. Quality coaches, great people and good facilities. If you want to get fit, learn a new life skill or to compete professional, you can do it all here. Immersion caters for all levels and you'll happily find no meatheads at the gym, take the plunge and give it a shot! I remember how daunting it was for me but I am so glad I took that first class.
