Been here twice, both times were fantastic. Delicious fresh food, good drinks menu. Plenty of seating, friendly staff and very clean.

Nice little place in the wharf area. Food was relatively quick and tasted great. They have a separate vegan menu which made ordering vegan food even easier than having to search the regular menu. Cocktails were nice and staff were not stingy with the alcohol (although it wasn't too strong either!) Probably the only downside is there isn't a lot of seating available so would definitely recommend not to go during lunch rush times.

AREPA! Very delicious. Hard to find these anywhere so what a nice surprise. Good opening hours too - open until 8pm every night. I will definitely making this place regular inclusion to my dining schedule. Highly recommend.

Fresh. Tasty. Generous servings.In the middle of the revitalisers and very alive Mooloolaba Wharf is a little gem of a food jewel, ‘El Bigoton’.Early dinner and food was quickly delivered but cooked to order.Rump cap cooked medium rare was juicy and tender.Black beans on the Brazilian plate was tasty and soft.Plan to revisit often.

Wasn't sure what to expect with this Latin America restaurant. Decided to get the platter to try as much as possible and it turned out to be an amazing meal. The beef steak was absolutely unbelievable, mouth watering flavour with the melt in your mouth texture. Flame grilled smokey flavours, chips were amazing and all the other items great too.

I recently had a lunch at El Bigoton and was impressed with the overall experience. The food was delicious and authentic, with a wide variety of options to choose from. The prices were reasonable and in line with what I would expect for a restaurant of this quality. The customer service was also excellent, with friendly and attentive staff who made sure our experience was enjoyable. Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for great Latin cuisine.

A restaurant on the wharf that sells South American cuisine. I can recommend the Brazilian PF, especially if you're looking for a meal that isn't too heavy. Good mix of salads, grains, legumes and protein.
