They overcharge and are very inflexible and difficult to deal with. They sent me a huge final bill for my gas which was nearly $200 more than my previous bills, I spent literally 2 hours on the phone trying to sort it out with very unhelpful staff. It was a clear money grab because it was the final bill and I ended up having to drive with my new baby back to my old house, disturb the new owner and take a photo of the gas meter myself to prove that they were vastly over-charging me.They're also uncompassionate compared to other power companies, when my house was flooded and I had a huge electricity bill because of the fans drying my place out, they said they couldn't do anything for me. Compared to Origin Energy who voided an entire bill for my parents when their house flooded and also gave them a $250 credit.I was an Energy Australia customer for 9 years but clearly loyalty counts for nothing so I won't be going with them again and I don't recommend them to anyone.

SCAM ALERT. The scam they recently tried to pull on us is so foul, I churned away to a competitor on principle. They cancelled" our no-frills plans for gas & elec and after a few weeks we would have been automatically switched to FAR WORSE plans that they even admitted in the letter would cost 40-60% more. They weren't even their own equivalent

I've been using Trader for a few years now - I was over the other blokes and needed a change - been happy so far. Saw their boss - Simon Gerard speak at an event and it made sense - they're trying to bring back the Service and Passion that's been lost from the industry. Trader was started by the family that originally built Clipsal.Their Flat Cat is awesome and got me moving after slimline disappeared. Also starting to use their Powermesh too - and this is really opening up new business opportunities for me. They'll go the extra yard for you when you need them.

Would never recommended anyone to work here, a lot of corruption and very few genuine people, very poor communication, its a legitimate nightmare having to work for these type of people.
