Our favourite cafe told us about this place. Went for a look today and was in kitchenware heaven! They are so very friendly and happy to so us around. Perfect for anyone who loves to cook and entertain. They have everything you might find in a great kitchenware shop, plus all the commercial quality products as well. their prices were great too! Only downside is they are not open on the weekends, yet! We can’t wait to head back for another visit

My wife and I drove up to Sydney from Canberra for the knife sharpening class. We had a great time. Ben and Leigh were simply excellent. Very patient and explained things with as much detail as needed, irrespective of our experience levels. We also finished the morning off with a little Sake. Great collection of knives and drinks. Just a fantastic experience in general. Highly recommended for anyone interested in learning how to sharpen using whetstones or just looking for a good morning out with friends, even from Canberra. Good range of products. Once you get past the apparent lack of willingness to offer customer service and actually ask them for some help, they are willing to give you a hand and will go through what you're looking at and make a recommendation one way or the other. I've spent a bit of money here and in other stores and although other stores will offer upfront service, Fishers tends to be more competitive on some pricing points; if price is all you care about, then that is a pro.Hopefully they and up their service game and it may reflect better on them because they are significantly closer than other dealers for me.

I purchased two table bases from Nisbets Online however when they were delivered, one of the rods that connects the table and base together was short. This was the cherry on top as I had waited for some time to get these table bases delivered. Thankfully, the other table base had no fault. I then emailed Nisbets Online returns department to inform them about the issue however, they rudely suggested that I measure the faulty table base, then dissemble the non-faulty table, put them side by side and take a photo of them so they could THEN assess the fault. How could they suggest something so ridiculous when all they had to do was pick up and drop off a new table base. I run a business and don’t have time to sit there assessing faulty products which I know I am entitled to have replaced! But it gets worse. I sent another email to Nisbets Online returns department and surprise surprise, I have received no response. I spoke to Tamara from returns and to Aaron and Phil from sales and again, surprise surprise, no one has gotten back to me. Take my advice and do NOT purchase products from this company. They have the worst products – they are either faulty or break down! They are cheap for a reason. The saying goes, if you pay for bananas you get monkeys. I would suggest you pay a little more for a product that you know will last you longer and is of a commercial grade!

Rude, will only shop there if I have no other option.I enquired and fell in love with chairs out the front which were around $80 a chair and there was a was a lot in stock,(easily 50 to 80), I then came in the a week later to purchase 4 and the price was now 109.95 per chair. I began to ask if the lady could do something with the price as it was only a week ago. A older looking lady then gave me a lecture speaking over the top of lady that was serving me, stating fuel prices and limited stock in the country, and gave me the would I ask for a discount at a fuel station talk. So rude.I then tried explain I wanted to buy local but could not justify paying over $120 more than I could buy them on line, the older looking lady continued to be rude and said good luck it won’t happen.It has happened and saved enough to buy a table and have change for a nice family take out meal. Hate to say it sometimes supporting local retail misses out due to service and price increases (pricing themselves out of the market)Lovely house warming for my husband and I. Shame it wasn’t a local buy.

Excellent Japanese cuisine hardware, including knives, hibachi & exceptional soy sauce. A superb shop & find.
